Week 3 Chapter 1
An overview of information systems is given in Chapter 1, which also underlines the need to study IT in today's connected world. It illustrates the concept of increasingly using computer systems, as well as the importance of knowledgeable users in businesses.
Information resource management, IT infrastructure, and several kinds of organisational information systems—like departmental and application information systems—are covered in this chapter. It looks deeply into the potential and difficulties IT presents to managers, staff members in organisations, and society. However, as technology has become more pervasive in both the workplace and daily life, new problems have emerged, such as a rise in the prevalence of depression and work-related stress, which have long-term effects on people's lives. In the future, we will be more productive if we comprehend the benefits and drawbacks of using IT at work.

I like how you've included both the good and the bad side effects technology and IT has brought in the modern age. Depression and work-related stress has indeed become a growing issue in these modern times with the rise of technology and knowing what the balance is will be important for our future work lives.

I think its important for there to be more information regarding the negative health effects of IT and better education on the subject so as to ensure a healthier future workplace.
I like your discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of technologies. Technology may have both positive and negative impacts, as it gives rise to new challenges resulting from changes in today's society.
